Splendors of Central Bali

This is an unforgettable day that we've put together for you to enjoy as many highlights of Bali's incredible natural wonders as possible, starting with Lake Kintamani, which is Bali's largest lake. We depart early, so we can get the best views over the lake and so you can enjoy a fabulous Balinese coffee at an incredible local coffee shop, which offers spectacular views of the lake itself

From Lake Kitmani, we head to Ubud's famous monkey forest for a walk through the jungle, where you can spot monkeys in their natural habitat and enjoy this sacred forest and garden, which is a delight to walk though. There are numerous temples and statues inside the forest and it's a great excuse for a nice morning walk through Bali's magical jungle.

From here, we head to the Tirta Empul Temple outside of Ubud, which is known as a center for purification, and one of the island's most important temples. Here, you can explore the grounds of the temple and partake in the water ceremony itself. For this reason, we recommend you bring a swimsuit and change of clothes.

Following the water ceremony, you will have time for lunch (paid locally) before we continue onto the Tegalalang Rice terraces, which are steeped into the cascading (often steep) jungle hills. It's truly a sight for sore eyes and here, you have the opportunity to enjoy one of the swings, although you can simply walk through the terraces or enjoy a gorgeous panoramic view (ideal for photos) from one of the local terraces.

Finally, on this incredible day focusing on the highlights of central Bali, we end the day at the Tegenungan Waterfall where you can enjoy a dip, or simply take in the raw natural beauty of one of the island's most impressive waterfalls before we take you back to your point of departure.
